What is Brow Couture?
Brow Couture is our signature eyebrow shaping and design service.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk-in?
We do not accept walk-ins or same day appointments, all services are by appointment only. See below for how to make your appointment.
How do I make an appointment?
We encourage you to book online and see available appointments now!
You may also call to schedule your appointment. Please note that Everyday Esthetics is a small, boutique salon, so there is a very good chance you will receive voice mail but please leave a message and you will be contacted during regular business hours.
Can I book online?
Yes! Current Clients may book brow services online from 48 hours to 60 days in advance. You will be asked for detailed contact information and will receive an automated confirmation. You will then receive an email reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We request 24 hours notice if you would need to reschedule for any reason.
No-show clients will be required to secure their next appointment with a MasterCard or Visa, and will be charged the full amount at the time of the rescheduled appointment.
What are your Studio hours?
Hours vary due to on-location offerings. We do not accept walk-ins.
Tuesday 12:30pm-7:00pm
Wednesday 10am-4pm
Thursday 12:30pm-7:00pm
Saturday 10am-4pm (unless we have a bride!)
Due to our on location services, hours do vary.
Where are you located?
We are located 5 miles from Sewickley in the Historic District of Ambridge, PA. Follow this link for complete directions and mapping. PLEASE look at our detailed driving directions, as mapping/GPS services often miss important turns. Call one day prior to appointment with questions, as we may not answer the phone if we are with clients.
What methods of hair removal do you do?
We are experts and artists with tweezers. Brow services can be all tweeze or a wax/tweeze combination. Please let us know if you prefer an all tweeze session.
Do I have enough eyebrow hair to shape? I have over tweezed.
If you have had a bad wax experience, or have just been over tweezing, we suggest a minimum of 6-8 weeks of not touching your brows...at all! It's tough, but it will yield the best results at your first appointment.
What if I am late for an appointment?
If you are more than ten minutes late for a Maintenance Appointment, you will be rescheduled. If you are more than fifteen minutes late for your Initial Design, you will be rescheduled. We would like you to respect our time and the time of the client that is scheduled after you.
How is your service different from any other eyebrow shaping or wax?
Most salons put wax on and pull it off. Brow Couture is eyebrow design that is based on your bone structure, facial shape, feature size and natural brow contours. It is a subtle reshaping of the face, bringing out all the best you have to offer. The owner is highly trained in Eyebrow Design and this is the Studio's signature service.
Do you do permanent makeup or tattoo eyebrows?
No. We do not do permanent makeup or tattoo on eyebrows.
Do you tint or dye eyebrows?
Tinting or dying eyebrows and lashes is illegal in every state. We do not offer this service.
Are Gift Certificates available?
No, at this time we do not offer Gift Certificates.
How much does it cost?
Your first Brow Couture session is $50. Maintenance Appointments, scheduled within six weeks of your previous appointment are $31. Appointments more than six weeks apart will be charged the Initial Design rate.
How can I pay?
Visa, MasterCard, check and cash.
Will you come to me at my home?
Yes! We have a Celebrity Service if you would like your eyebrows shaped in the privacy of your home. A non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of reservation.
Celebrity service is currently waitlisted. Please contact us for more information.
What if there's bad weather, how do I know if you're open?
If there is severe weather expected, reschedule your appointment through our on line booking system. Mass client rescheduling can put a strain on staff, so use the on line system to get the fastest results. If the Studio will be closing, you will be contacted by phone and email, through the contact information we have on file for you.

Do you still have 2010 dates available?
No. We no longer have dates available for brides in 2010.
What 2011 dates are available?
We will not be accepting wedding makeup bookings for 2011.
Do you have a minimum/maximum for services?
We do accept bride only bookings. We do not accept parties larger that 3 persons (bride plus 2).
Do you come to me?
We come to you on the wedding day, and you come to our Studio for the trial run.
Where is my trial run?
Your trial run will be at our Studio. We schedule bridal trials during normal Studio hours. We will also open the Studio for bridal trial runs on Fridays, if we have no weddings scheduled. We do not do trials on Saturdays during busy wedding season. Plan on scheduling your trial run from 2-12 months in advance. We cannot accomodate walk-ins. We are closed Sunday (except for weddings) and Monday.
What is the difference between Traditional and Airbrush Foundation?
Everything! Traditional Foundation is hand applied powder, liquid or cream. The Airbrush Foundation is misted on through a compressor and wand. The formula for the Airbrush Foundation is unlike the others, and the application gives a flawless appearance that photographs like a dream.
Do I need to make a deposit?
Yes. No dates are held without a booking fee. Your $100 booking fee is non-refundable, and is applied to your final service total.
How do I reserve my date?
Either call or email. Everyday Esthetics is a one woman operation, so there is a very good chance you will get voice mail! Please leave your name, contact information and your wedding date in your message. Calls received before 3pm Tuesday-Saturday will be returned the same business day. Our office is closed Sunday and Monday (we do accomodate Sunday weddings). If your date is available and we decide we're a good fit to work together, you will be asked to secure your date with a non-refundable booking fee that is applied to your final bill. Who does my makeup and how long will it take?
The owner, a Licensed Esthetician, does all applications herself. Please note all times needed for each application listed on the makeup services page, as there will be only one Makeup Artist that comes to you on the big day. Plan on 1 hour 15 minutes for the bride and 45-60 for each additional application.
Can you do my brows too?
Yes! We offer a discounted Brow Couture service at your trial run. No tweezing will be done the day of the wedding to prevent redness and irritation on the big day.
How can I pay?
You may be paid by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Final payment is due at the time of service on wedding day.
Can I book online?
No, wedding bookings must be discussed and confirmed either in email or over the phone.
